Minchinhampton Encounter

Minchinhampton Encounter

After unloading and moving my car to the car park on the way back to Minchinhampton Market Hall I met up with several cows out for a stroll. Not what I expected to see on a bright sunny morning but it did make me smile.   I had my stall downstairs in the Market Hall undercroft this time – It was a lovely day and with a steady stream of visitors to the Market Hall a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday.

Our last Fayre was at Edge Village Hall.  In contrast to Minchinhampton the weather was horrible with it raining almost non-stop all afternoon.  It was almost as bad the last time we went to Edge and we were surprised  then at the intrepid local people turning out.  We were hoping that it would be sunny and dry this time but it didn’t seem to put the villagers off. Several groups ended up sitting and having teas, snacks and a gossip, which added to the friendly atmosphere of the afternoon.
